If you would like to remember a relative, friend or colleague in this special way we can offer you collection envelopes for donations in lieu of flowers.

The benefit of using collection envelopes is that the RNLI can claim Gift Aid, meaning that your donation could be worth around 25% more.

​Forever by the Sea funds are a positive and powerful way to honour the life of someone special. By setting up a fund in the name of your loved one, you can turn treasured memories into practical support for courageous volunteer lifeboat crews.

At a time of loss there can be a real need to celebrate a friend or loved one no longer with us. Seeing a Forever by the Sea fund flourish can give a feeling of shared commitment amongst friends and family.

Those who have pages set up in their honour will be entered into our Book of Remembrance.

How does it work?

An online fund allows you, your family and friends to:

• upload pictures

• contribute journal entries about the person the fund is honouring

• leave messages of support and remembrance

• light a virtual candle

• organise and publicise fundraising events and sponsored activities in memory of your loved one

• donate via direct debit

• give single donations.

Fund holders receive updates twice a year and a newsletter full of inspiring ideas and stories.
